We only stayed one night, and everything went as planned. The host was kind and flexible, and the apartment is separate with its own entrance at the back of a larger occupied house. There’s a lot of room, with a sofa bed, single bed, and double bed, so it could fit a family; for the two of us, it was more than enough. The kitchen is spacious and has plenty of utensils. It’s good value overall, and I’d recommend it for families or small groups. Downtown is a 20-minute walk, Tettye is 10 minutes away, and there’s a local bus stop a few meters from the property. Thanks for hosting us. A few things could be improved. Since it’s part of a larger house, noise from stairs and furniture carries into the apartment and could disturb people trying to rest early. The tea left for guests, if it was meant for us, had expired in 2021; a few fresh tea bags would be better. Heating downstairs was a bit weak in the evening, and the bathroom cooled off late at night, though neither was unbearable. The upstairs bedroom stayed pleasantly warm in the morning. There’s barely space for one car directly outside, and it has to be partly on the sidewalk.

The setting is lovely, and the place was equipped and clean. Even in the heat, it stayed pleasant at night. For two nights, the price suited our needs, but I wouldn’t want to stay longer because some of the beds aren’t comfortable and the mattresses need attention. The guest bed mattress should be replaced. I mentioned it to the lovely owner and hope she considers the suggestion.

What an experience. There was constant rumbling above us, even at midnight. It was almost cool in the evening, the furniture was old and worn, and the TV seemed like a top model from 1995. The view was of the neighboring two-story house. Water pressure was about half a bar, and there’d be no hot water if we hadn’t found the boiler switch.

A comfortable, pleasant place with attentive hosts. The south-facing terrace opens onto a green garden that gives it a Mediterranean feel. It’s close to both the city center and the Mecsek. I’d recommend it to couples and families alike.
