Hotel Arkadia

Breakfast and coffee were poor, with very little choice. The room was just as bad: it was in a rear auxiliary building, smelled of mold, and felt like a sauna. It was 30 degrees inside even though it was only 23 outside, and the AC didn’t work. Hard to understand for a 4-star hotel. When I reported it, the receptionist was extremely rude. He said the AC was broken, then ignored us without offering any help. We had to sleep with the windows wide open, but people partying and shouting outside made the noise unbearable all night. Never again!

The hotel is only 500 meters from the square with all the cafes and restaurants, and for this price I’d say it’s definitely worth it. The staff were polite and helpful, our car was parked in the yard, and everything was in order at breakfast. The food was delicious, the room was warm and nice, and the bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom could use a little investment, though. The shower curtains need replacing, and the ventilation is dirty, so I’d give the room 4 stars. Thank you!

Breakfast was nice, though very simple. Parking at the hotel is limited and costs extra. Finding a nearby spot can be difficult, and it’ll most likely be paid too. The hotel sits in the heart of the historic city centre, making it easy and comfortable to get around downtown. The rooms were clean, with whitewashed walls, grey furniture and carpeting, in what I’d call a minimalist post-modern style. Our room showed some wear but was okay overall. The bathroom was clean, though some of its fittings and design choices felt strangely cheap. The curtains are mostly decorative and don’t darken the room much. The TV was small and a long way from the bed, though we didn’t use it. The AC in our room didn’t work. The weather was cool enough that opening the windows was fine, but in summer the room would get extremely hot without it.

The staff were friendly and really helpful, and the service was excellent. The rooms at Hotel Amiens ties were beautiful, clean and tidy. It’s not far from Kiraly ut, and the family room was a great price. I’d recommend staying here. The staff were still very helpful throughout.
