The staff were polite, but our room was dirty. There were crumbs all over the table and carpet, the bedside table was grimy, and the bathroom was in the same state, including a dirty shower curtain. The cobwebs by the window looked like they’d been there for more than a day. Hot water was sometimes unavailable, and the hot breakfast arrived cold, even though it was served kindly. At the restaurant I had to sweep the previous guest’s crumbs off the table myself. I hope we just came at a bad time and got the wrong room, and that the others are nicer and better kept.

We arrived at 6 pm, when they turned on the room’s heating, which is done with an air conditioner. Even after three hours, it was only 18 degrees, with the temperature outside at 0. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. You’re bound to catch a cold.

The portions were generous and the service friendly. The three of us ate lunch for about what one person’s meal would cost in Pest. I recommend it.

We went for lunch as a family and were really pleased with the generous servings and very fair prices. The food was delicious, the service was perfect, and the place welcomes dogs. The value for money was a lovely surprise. Thanks, I’d recommend it to anyone.
