Park Inn by Radisson Sárvár Resort & Spa

The spa is amazing, and the food is good with plenty of choice. At mealtimes, the staff do their best to keep up with the crowds. I'm not disappointed, and it's still a great option for families with kids, though I may look at other places next time. For a four-star hotel, it seems to have lost its shine. The restaurant, bars, lounges, and other shared spaces show clear wear and need a proper renovation. Upholstery is stained in many places, and guests sitting around in wet robes don't help.

The waterpark has indoor and outdoor areas, and the slides are fun for adults and kids alike. The all-inclusive setup really covers the day, with breakfast, snacks, lunch, drinks, and dinner, plus a wide range of tasty food and beverages. The hotel is amazing, and the staff made the stay from the very start. Their service was the best I've experienced, and they went out of their way to meet our needs, including gluten-free food and other dietary restrictions. A perfect stay, highly recommended!

The buffet food and drinks were fine, but the hotel needs more people keeping the place clean. Plates and glasses were left around, including half-full beer glasses by the pool, and tables, chairs, and even the floor stayed sticky with spilled sweet drinks throughout our three-day visit. The thermal park also feels too small for the number of guests. For a four-star hotel and the Radisson name, this was disappointing. It felt more like a three-star stay. Management needs to address staffing, hygiene, and the crowded pool area.

The thermal pools are lovely, and the all-inclusive food is fine in quantity, though quality loses out. I came back this year after many years, having last stayed about 15 years ago, and it will be my final visit. The hotel looks as if it is being refreshed with paint and perhaps new carpets, but the spa needs a major overhaul too. The worst part was the overpowering smell in the room and bathroom. Maybe the maid was using scented spray to cover it, but it burned my eyes and made my nose run. It was disgusting, and nothing else mattered after that. The beds are small and soft. It has a Potemkin village feel, as if color alone is being used to make it look reconstructed. I also really disliked seeing Czechs take food at breakfast and in the evening. It seems suited to families with children and seniors who want quantity. I can make comparisons, but this place isn't for me.
