We had a great time in the apartment, even though the weather was cooler, and still enjoyed the wellness area. It matched the description: a cute, modern, well-equipped place for five people. The hosts were kind and flexible. There’s a restaurant and small shop next door, the city center is walkable, and the beach is about 10 minutes away.

The bedrooms and living room all have smart TVs, and the rooms are cozy and well-equipped. There are automatic shutters, air conditioning, and comfortable beds. The indoor pool is cleaned regularly, and the jacuzzi is comfortable and warms up quickly.

We came with three children and found the apartment very comfortable. It was just as described and had everything we needed: WiFi, air conditioning, and a smart TV in every room, plus a vacuum, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, drying rack, washing machine, basic spices, cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, capsule coffee maker and capsules, and towels. There was also a barbecue on the private terrace. We really enjoyed the wellness area with its small pool, jacuzzi, and infrared sauna. The center is easy to reach on foot, and there’s a restaurant and small shop about 50 meters away. Újhely’s free beach is around 600 meters away, so we walked there with the kids. We were satisfied overall. One hiccup: we’d said we were arriving as five, but bedding had only been prepared for four. We found an extra set and sorted it out ourselves. It was great!

We booked for 10 people because the listing described a separate house, but instead we got two rooms for 10 in a huge apartment building, at opposite ends of the corridor. It cost 300,000 HUF for 2 days. We didn’t feel comfortable at all. We were told to be quiet at 11 am when we arrived, and neighbors threatened to call the police. We couldn’t park in the yard without worrying we’d disturb someone, or enjoy our terrace in the evening in a civilized way. They threw toilet paper onto our terrace, and we had to sit quietly because of the neighbors. It felt like we had to stay on guard in the middle of a resort area just to avoid conflicts.
