Ms Elizabeth was loud and very rude. We’d prepaid our Booking reservation two weeks before arriving, but when we got there at 8 PM, we found out she’d cancelled it without telling anyone. She then demanded another 100€ for us to stay. We asked why at first, but we were tired and agreed. Then the “nice” lady started screaming and shaking, ran inside, brought us a plastic bag with the money, refunded the whole amount, and told us to leave. I’ve never seen behavior that rude, especially since Hungarian people are usually such nice hosts. Well, thank you, Ms Elizabeth! Because of you, we found a better, bigger apartment just two streets away, with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a lovely owner. This place was claustrophobic, with slanted walls. Ms Elizabeth, you showed your true nature over just 100€. Good luck! 😃

We had a really bad experience. She was very rude, made us feel unwelcome, kicked us out, and wanted to keep 180€.

The hostess was unfriendly from the moment we arrived, and made it clear we weren’t welcome. Even though we hadn’t behaved inappropriately, she strongly advised us to find somewhere else to stay. She assured us our deposit would be refunded in full if we left that day. But after we’d found a new place and were ready to go, the owner still kept around €200. I can’t recommend it. The other reviews suggest this may have happened before.

We got there on time, but were greeted extremely rudely. After about an hour at the pool, while we were still behaving politely, we were told to find somewhere else to stay. It was obvious she didn’t want us there. She kept €180 from the amount we’d already paid. Outrageous. She should just say she doesn’t take groups.

I agree with the negative reviews. The owner was horrible, and the room smelled musty. The air conditioning couldn’t cool the apartment even when set to 16 degrees, though we went out when it was about 27 degrees. I’d asked for a room with a bathtub, but it couldn’t be used. While we were there, he sent two guys to use the kitchen. Terrible, I don’t recommend it!
