The location was a real plus, with short walks to the center and Lake Balaton, and the hallways and rooms were nicely decorated. Reception and breakfast staff were kind, helpful, and spoke English and German. There was free parking if you found a space in front, plus a free coffee machine in the dining hall. The wellness area was pretty good for a rainy day, though the steam sauna wasn't working. We spent a week here, and left disappointed. The breakfast was poor quality with very little choice, although the orange juice was good. We only got room service once all week, despite leaving the cleaning sign out for three days in a row. After we told reception, it was done, and they apologized for the cleaners. There was a general sense of dirt: cobwebs everywhere, windows left uncleaned, and spots that looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in years. We also ate at one of the partner restaurants, but no one had told us at reception that we needed a coupon for the discount, so we missed out. For the price and a 4-star rating, we expected more. We wouldn't return. If those drawbacks don't bother you, you may be fine here.

The hotel is right in the center, around 500 m from the beach. You can pay to park at the hotel or look for free parking nearby. We enjoyed the nicely decorated room and the wellness facilities, including the jacuzzi and swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent, and hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks were available all day.

The inner garden is lovely, and the hotel has a distinctive feel. Its large, beautifully decorated SPA was fully working during our stay, and breakfast had plenty of tasty choices. We stayed in the Aphrodite Room and loved the romantic atmosphere, high ceiling, lovely decor, and generous size. It felt ideal for a couple. We'd definitely recommend it and plan to book again soon.

We only stayed one night, but really liked the place. It has a lovely feel, the wellness area was clean and organized, and breakfast was just enough. The room was a good size too. The pool was cold, though that made sense in winter. The one downside was the shower. On a very cold day, the water took ages to warm up. We asked at reception, and the woman said the heating was already on and it should get warmer after 8pm, but it was 10pm by then. Apart from that, a great place, highly recommend.

Our room had the Romantic theme, and we enjoyed the spa and sauna along with a good breakfast. The staff were enthusiastic, and we even met a woman from Cuba. It's a good value hotel with different room decor. We'll come back! 🤗
