The rooms were lovely, with stylish, quality furnishings, and the reception and spa staff were friendly and professional. The spa attendant was constantly busy helping, cleaning, handing out towels and looking after us right up to closing time. One design issue: there’s no separate light in the toilet, so at night you either have to go in the dark or wake your partner by switching on the bathroom light. Dinner looked and tasted great, though the dishes were a bit saltier than we’re used to. Breakfast was outstanding, with hot dishes to choose from as well as a buffet. It was one of the best breakfasts I’ve had. The cappuccinos and lattes looked gorgeous and tasted great, and their homemade sourdough bread and pastries were superb. The restaurant staff were on top of everything too. I’d come back anytime and highly recommend the place!

The room was so spacious and lovely, and the restaurant had plenty of tasty options. We spent three wonderful nights here with our two little kids, and the spa was a highlight. The staff were kind and the facilities were kept to a high standard. Even in the off-season, we enjoyed everything the hotel offered. It’s the best place we’ve visited so far, and I’d gladly recommend it to anyone traveling around Balaton.

We’ve stayed at Mala Garden several times over the past two years, and it’s never let us down. The atmosphere is lovely, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is really delicious. The staff are friendly, kind, and polite, with outstanding service. For us, it’s the best wellness hotel around Balaton, and I really recommend it.

We’ll definitely come back to Mala Garden. The staff were attentive, friendly, and professional, and the place felt cozy as well as luxurious. We loved the fresh, creative dishes and how nicely they were presented, especially the goat cheese salad, pasta, and desserts. With beautiful views over Lake Balaton and a relaxed atmosphere, it’s a lovely spot for a romantic meal or just a drink by the water.

The staff were always smiling, polite, and ready to help, and they even welcomed us with a drink. We brought our dog and found the hotel genuinely pet friendly: they had a dog bed and water bowl ready, while keeping everything clean. The location is lovely and the hotel is well equipped. There was a wide choice at breakfast and dinner, and the food was the best we had in town.
