The One Hotel

The staff were very nice, and the location was convenient. We were also glad to see the mattress and pillows had protectors, and a sign said the bed had been disinfected with UV light, which mattered to us given everything going on in the world. The room was very clean, with fresh linen, lots of pillows, and comfortable, cozy beds. We had a great stay, and I definitely recommend this hotel.

We came for one night and wished we’d stayed longer. The staff were helpful, the beds were really comfortable, and breakfast was included, which was a nice touch. We also had sushi for dinner, easily the best I’ve ever tried. The sticky rice was just right and the rolls were huge. My husband and I wanted somewhere quiet around Siófok and not too far from Balaton, so choosing this newly opened hotel was a very good call. Everything felt modern and brand new. We’ll be back.

The location is great and the hotel looks fabulous, but the service was zero. I asked for a second card so the AC and charger could keep running. Whenever I left it in the socket, they removed it, even with the “do not disturb” sign on the door. I also wasn’t allowed to bring guests over for a drink before going out for the night. I think I was the only guest. A taxi driver said this hotel is always empty. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It must be a money laundering operation. I should have spent that 1000 euros somewhere else. And my deposit still hasn’t been returned.

The staff made our trip extra special. They were warm, friendly, helpful, and more focused on service than anyone I’ve encountered at a hotel. I wish I could find a place like this in every city I visit. Breakfast was great, the internet worked well, and the location was handy for transport and the sushi restaurant. We had a great experience.
