Marika Apartment with Pool

The kids loved the swimming pool, and there was a huge garden with room for family and sports activities. We stayed for a week, and the apartments were spacious, super clean and very well equipped. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and suggested great places to visit and eat. Balaton is just a minute's walk away. We hope to return next year!

Dori and Sandor were polite and friendly, and even helped us find somewhere to hire bicycles. The owners live very nearby if you need anything, and their pool was a lovely place to relax later in the day when it was hot. Our Marika Apartment was very comfortable for our seven nights. The lake is a five-minute walk away, the station takes six or seven minutes, shops are ten minutes away, and there are a few local restaurants, snack bars and bars nearby. We'd definitely stay again.

The host was friendly and helpful, just as you'd hope. Both the apartment and the property were welcoming and very well maintained. We had a wonderful five days there, and hope to return next year. Köszönöm szépen!

The owner's attitude and communication were outrageous. I booked eight months before arrival, but a month later he called to say he'd accidentally failed to pick up the available apartment, and that I'd booked it at the 2025 price. I apologized, but pointed out that my booking had been confirmed. He said he didn't care and was selling the apartment anyway, after apparently wanting to rent it out for more. Then he forcefully told me that if I arrived, I'd find the doors closed. Later he emailed me, late on a weekend night, giving me 15 hours to pay. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
