This hotel has a lot of potential, but it needs better management. I’m American and was in the area to grow my business, and there are a few things future guests should know. Room quality is inconsistent. Some rooms have coffee makers and are much better equipped than others. The heating runs so high that we had to leave a window open, even when it was below freezing outside. Housekeeping also seems to focus on empty rooms, so fresh towels or bedding may not arrive until late afternoon. The bathroom floor gets flooded by the shower, and staff were reluctant to give us enough towels to mop it up. Lunch from the kitchen was disappointing too: the chicken was dry and overcooked, though the staff did apologize. Check your room carefully before booking several nights. Longer stays are nonrefundable, so I’d book a day at a time in case you need to change rooms or leave.

We had to make an unexpected stop on the way to somewhere else, and they had what we needed, even a toothbrush. The service was excellent, and so was breakfast.

The scenery is amazing, and the facilities are good. It’s a lovely, quiet neighborhood hotel, small and thoughtfully laid out, with a beautiful design.

Our room was spotless and the beds were really comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and very exclusive, and the service was polite, gentle, and kind. The hotel is in a perfect spot by the Ráckeve (Srpski) branch of the Danube.

The staff made us feel very welcome and were incredibly warm. Duna garden hotel has a lovely mix of rustic character and modern comfort, set amid Hungary’s beautiful natural landscape.
