K9 Residence

For £35 a night, this was really good value. My room was spacious and had a kitchenette, and the reception staff were helpful English speakers, with the desk staffed 24 hours. The location is very central and close to the Danube. I liked the place, though the hallways were a bit dark and dingy.

The friendly staff were fabulous, especially Attila and Co. Thanks again for all your help, hope to see you again. The central district is perfectly placed for Budapest's historical buildings and other places of interest, just a stone's throw away.

The staff were really friendly, and the price felt like great value. Getting around is easy, with all kinds of transport nearby, including the airport shuttle bus. Every flat has access to a balcony, which means smokers don't have to go downstairs. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Some things were awkwardly placed too: the bedside lamps were so far from the bed that you had to almost get up to switch them off.

The rooms are modern, clean, and spacious, even though the hotel doesn't look like anything special from the outside. The 24-hour reception staff were fantastic and very helpful. It's a perfect base for exploring Pest, and for the price, I don't think you could do better.
