The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. A nice place to stay, though the neighborhood feels a bit seedy.

The metro and Corvin Plaza shopping center are nearby, so getting around is easy. The apartment was nice for a two-day stay, though you can hear the elevator and downstairs neighbors through the poor soundproofing. The landlady speaks some English and supplies towels, but there are no slippers.

The passage to the kitchen and bathroom is so narrow that I wouldn’t recommend this tiny apartment to anyone larger. It does have everything you need, but it felt dirty and unpleasant. The “windows” face an internal courtyard well, about a meter by a meter, with sewer pipes. There’s no ventilation, so you have to open those windows onto the well. If money’s really tight, you can get through the night here. If you can pay a bit more for somewhere else, take that option.
