Gutenberg Apartments

05-07.12.25. There was lots of room to park in the large courtyard, which you can drive into through the alley using the key and remote for the big metal gate. You can go straight from the apartment out into the courtyard. The street has trams, but you can barely hear them. I was confused when booking because there are two Gutenberg Apartments in Szeged at different addresses, and they’ve been renovated and decorated in a similar way. I think this one is better and closer to the center. It’s right in the center, about five minutes along Petefi Šandor Street to Dugonjić Square and ten minutes to the main street or Dom Square. The building looked unpromising, and its outside entrance felt like it was from the 60s. The apartment is on the second floor, fully renovated and modern inside. The key is in a small safe by the door, and the landlady gives you the code, as well as the code to enter the building. It had all the utensils except a coffee pot that works on induction. We’d definitely book it again if we return to Szeged.
