The restaurant was fine, with good tasting food and a nice variety, though the salad and fruit selection and quality could have been better. We’ve stayed several times, and after last year’s renovation the hotel looks fresher, cleaner, and nicer. Some of the new equipment choices don’t work as well, though. The room sofa is smaller than before, and we preferred the old main hall furniture.

The restaurant food was good, though I didn’t like that plain drinking water wasn’t free at dinner. Parking was another stress, and I think guests should have an easy parking option, even if the cost is included in the accommodation price. We also weren’t allowed a late checkout, despite it being listed as an option. That was a big minus and affected the comfort and overall impression. This was our third visit, and unfortunately the worst so far. The room had been renovated, but the standard felt lower: the mattresses were too soft, there was no seating set or room mirror, and room service was late. The towels left on the floor weren’t changed. The rest was fine and at the same level as before. I hope you take this well-intentioned feedback on board, and we’ll see you again.

The restaurant and chef deserve top marks. The food was extremely tasty, and as our daughter has celiac disease, having gluten-free choices at both breakfast and dinner was a real delight. Breakfast could have come from any five-star restaurant, with someone continually looking after the buffet so it stayed presentable. The hotel spa was well maintained too. Aquapolis is connected to the hotel, but I think the water park needs renovation, and its staff weren’t as nice as the hotel staff. The girls still had a great time on all the slides. It was a very good stay for us, beyond what we expected.

The aquapark was clean and so nice that it exceeded what we expected. We also liked the room, the people, and the food. I’d really recommend it for families. One tip: put the room-cleaning sign on the door, because otherwise, I think the cleaners won’t come in and the towels won’t get changed.
