Set on a hillside among lush greenery, this cosy little gem feels private and is a pleasure to look at. For the same price, it’s worth far more to me than a hotel room. Book early, or you may miss out.

I’d have stayed here for much longer if there’d been availability beyond a few nights. kristof and Ágnes are wonderful hosts who take care of every request, and this is one of the best privately run retreat rentals we’ve ever stayed in.

That view is beautiful, and the place itself is lovely too ✨

We loved sitting by the crackling fireplace in the evenings, then taking in the view from the sauna and heated jacuzzi. The lights of Szentendre looked dazzling beyond the tall pine silhouettes. In the morning, we had hot coffee on the terrace at sunrise, wrapped in a warm blanket. We arrived two days after Christmas Eve to celebrate my 50th birthday and relax. The host was kind and explained everything we needed to know about the house. The romantic cottage had everything for a comfortable stay, with sweet Christmas decorations around the rooms and two reindeer watching over our dreams. A dream cabin, a lovely host, and a beautiful view ❤️
