The room itself was comfortable, with a nice balcony. The bathroom fan took ages to switch off, though it was quiet with the door closed. The bigger hassle was the cash-only check-in: there was no staff, just a machine that gave me the key after I put in cash. I'd cycled from Budapest without enough money on me, so I had to ride back into Tacsony to find an ATM. There was nowhere nearby to eat, but at least I could pick up food while I was out. The confirmation email was only in Hungarian and apparently said payment had to be in cash. An English or German translation would have made things much easier.

A proper budget choice if you're travelling in a group. It's clean, but make sure you have the exact cash amount to get the key. Recommended.

It was quiet, with a comfortable bed and a nice room. The bathroom felt a bit old-fashioned.

For the price, it was a very good choice for a one-night stay. The beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean.

The owner was very flexible. It's a basic motel with good prices and decent Wi-Fi.
