25.10.26., still here :) The house is spacious and has everything you need. The center is just a few steps away, with the small railway, bobsleigh track, restaurants, and little bazaars. The host is lovely and always ready to help. It’s a very good place to stay, and I can only recommend it. Come-come-come :)

Finally, a place where the listing photos match what you actually find! The accommodation was clean, tidy, well equipped, and right in the center. The owner was very polite and helpful. I can recommend it to everyone, it deserves 5 stars in its category :-)

It’s quiet and peaceful, with clean, well-kept, comfortable rooms. The owner is a friendly, pleasant man who also speaks German. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there’s a sauna, pool, hot tub, monitored property, and plenty of parking on site. Prices are reasonable, and the facilities are excellent. A large horse ranch with rare breeds is a 3-minute walk away, including a paddock where shows and auctions are held. There’s also a nearby narrow-gauge railway for trips to the pond and cave. A great local restaurant and a pizzeria are close by too, both well worth a visit. I recommend it!

There’s no denying the place is clean and tidy, and on our first day it seemed quite nice. We unpacked, went hiking in weather around 30 degrees, and looked forward to cooling off when we got back. There was no air conditioning or fan. Then we found there was no hot water when we tried to shower. We told the owner, but there wasn’t much he could do. The next day, there was no water at all, hot or cold, anywhere. It came back 30 minutes before we left for home. The pool and hot tub earn the two stars. Even after all that, they charged an extra 5000 HUF for the hot tub. It really is worth coming here to hike.
