The staff were really kind and helpful, and the food was delicious with generous portions. It has the feel of a tiny country inn, with an interior like a village home from the last century. It was quite busy and felt a bit crowded, though we liked it a lot. Definitely recommended.

The service made a strong impression on me: the staff were friendly, attentive, knew the menu, and were happy to suggest dishes. The menu also changes with the seasons, so there is something different to try on another visit. Patkós Csárda uses local ingredients and celebrates Hungarian cooking, with the goulash especially standing out for its tender beef, vegetables, and spices. Inside, the rustic wooden furnishings and traditional motifs give the place a Hungarian feel, balanced by modern comfort. I found the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the food carefully prepared. For me, Patkós Csárda is the best restaurant in Tiszafüred, whether you want a traditional meal or somewhere for a special occasion. The combination of food, hospitality, and attention to quality makes it a place I’d recommend.

Just be aware that the catfish stew with cottage cheese dumplings as a side is charged at the full price for both dishes, even though the dumplings portion is about half the size of the main dish version. The "csusza" side costs half the regular amount, which seems much more reasonable.

The staff were very kind, and the food was tasty across the board, with a big selection and especially good fish. Portions are huge, and it’s a great place for real Hungarian cuisine. The restrooms need a full renovation, though. Highly recommended apart from that.
