Tokaj is a sleepy town with few options, and this place felt nice but pretty average. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. The food is usually Hungarian style, which means quite greasy, and I wish the menu had been more imaginative.

Really professional service and great quality food. Best restaurant in Tokaj.

The English menu translations surprised us, as we didn't feel they matched what the dishes actually were. The food wasn't bad, and the service was good in a nice restaurant. The wine felt too warm to us; when we asked for it colder, they offered ice for the glass, which unfortunately wasn't what we'd hoped for.

The food was wonderful, but the way they handled the bill was a bad joke. There were 5 couples at the table, and in 2024 they said they couldn't, or didn't know how to, split the charge by family. They wanted to close the place and left us tourists to work out how to divide a bill written in a language none of us spoke. With a bill of hundreds of euros, that was a real lack of education.
