The yard has hazards scattered around, including construction leftovers and an uncovered metal support sticking 10-15 cm out beside the new paving. It looked like a child could hit their head on it and be permanently injured. The climbing frame was only a year old, but a screw protruded from the slide and wasn’t fixed while we were there. Half the plot had newly planted grass we were told not to step on, so it didn’t feel child-friendly. We arrived to a 19-degree apartment and a 17-degree bedroom, despite booking months ahead for Pentecost. They said we were supposedly the first guests of the year, and were so unprepared that they started mowing the lawn when we rang the bell. It took a whole day of asking to get the temperature up to 22 degrees. When I said it was cold, I was told to use the air conditioning or open a window. We left the AC on during a three-hour outing to warm the room for the evening, but the over-controlling host switched it off without asking. This is a house with solar panels, too. Our two children, aged 1.5 and 3.5, ended up sick. Inside, the design felt amateurish, with lots of makeshift solutions. There was black mold in the bathroom, greasy kitchen furniture, and the wellness bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. I could go on. I don’t recommend it.

We had a fantastic time. The place is cozy, clean, and well equipped, and the clean wellness area has a nice variety of things to use. There’s a smaller pool for summer, plus great options for grilling and cooking in a cauldron in the yard, with seating. I recommend it.

We felt comfortable here. The house was clean and tidy, with well-equipped rooms, a balcony, air conditioning, a fan, and a separate bathroom. The kitchen is shared, but has several fridges, microwaves, washing machines, and dishwashers. Parking in the yard was convenient.

For the price, this was better value than an apartment in central Veszprém. It was easy to get to, clean, and tidy, with lots of storage, so I can see it working well in winter or for a longer stay. It was mostly child-friendly, and much bigger than the three of us, two adults and one child, needed. The garden could be lovely from spring to autumn, though we caught some cooler days. I recommend it.
