The staff are polite, and the rooms are spacious. It’s an old hotel with a pretty appearance, but it needs a major renovation. Breakfast was very limited and the quality seemed questionable.

We came with a group and booked several room types. Every room was clean and tidy. The included breakfast had a wide selection and tasted good, and the optional dinner was amazing, with 6-8 main courses as well as soups and cake. The staff were friendly and helpful, and found solutions to many of our questions. There’s free private parking, disabled access, and an elevator inside. The price is very reasonable. It’s a nice, friendly hotel in the town centre, about a 5-minute walk from the thermal spa. I recommend it.

The hotel is dated now, but it’s cheap and benefits from being close to the local Health Spa, where guests staying a week may be able to buy treatments from the Therapy Dpt. It’s about 200 m through the park. The other interesting thing is the building’s interior architecture. It was built in the early 70s and was reportedly the region’s most luxurious hotel, probably serving Hungarian and WarzawaPact officers and other cadres from the nearby military complex at the time.
