The old AC struggled in the 37 °C heat. It kept the room around 24-25 °C, but couldn’t cool it further. A couple of bottles of water in the room would also have been welcome, since there was no minibar. Sparkling water was available downstairs in the fridge, but after wine, a shower and getting into bed, going back down was a bit of a trek. At breakfast and on the menu, a few more vegetarian choices would help. Nothing fancy needed, just some options for people who don’t eat meat. Those are small suggestions for improvement, though. We had a great time: the staff were super nice, the wines were really good, and the room was cozy. The grape and wine theme carried through the decor and even the shower gel and hand soap. I’d definitely recommend it.

The helpful, kind staff made our visit lovely. We enjoyed the tasty food and wine, and the cellar and production area tour was great. There’s off-street parking, plus a playground and another play space for kids. Definitely recommend!

The host was very friendly, and there was plenty of fantastic Hungarian food. The wines were excellent too.

The terrace was just right for lunch, even in the hot weather, when we still enjoyed the soups. Everything we ordered was delicious, and both the food and service were truly excellent. The waitresses were friendly and spoke great English.

The kitchen is superb, the staff are amazing, and the rooms are spotless and comfortable. Gere Zsolt's apartman is the best in Villány. If you’re here, check it out. Everything’s great.
