Szépia Bio & Art Hotel

The room was amazing, and the staff were friendly. The food was tasty too, and the spa was a great place to relax. We stayed for a couple of nights and had a fantastic time. 100% recommended 😊👍

The staff were good, and I didn’t have any bad experience with them. Breakfast was good and simple. The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked well. There were a lot of mosquitoes and big bugs because of where the hotel is. It’s almost 30 km from the city center, which honestly wasn’t ideal for me. I came with a large Jolly Tour group, and there are regular buses from the hotel to the center at a reasonable fare. Still, if you’re staying longer and plan to go into town often, you really need a car. I’d put the hotel somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. It’s a good place to stay.

We booked because we wanted the restaurant and swimming pool, but both were closed, along with the bowling. We arrived at 20:45 after a full day of driving and hoped to get dinner. The restaurant had closed at 20:30, and they wouldn’t prepare anything for us. They suggested we go to the petrol station for chips. That didn’t feel like 4-star service. At 20:45, I don’t think it was too late to use those facilities. They usually stay open until around 22:00. Please put the opening and closing times on the website, it would have saved us a lot of disappointment. The room looked old and wasn’t very attractive. There was mold in the bathroom, and the pillows were terrible, like they might have come from an old sofa. For me, this isn’t a 4-star hotel, and the service wasn’t okay either.

The staff made up for a lot. Thanks to their service, I’d give them six stars, even though the hotel itself feels more like three than four. I have an allergy, and the carpet in our room was a problem for me. The air conditioning also needs cleaning. We had two rooms, and the other one was completely new, with a hard floor instead of carpet. That was nice.
