This was a great homestay just off Villány’s main road. The vine cellars are only two minutes away, and there’s a grocery store right across from it if you want to cook or pick up breakfast things. The bus stop for Siklós is also two minutes away. My room was spacious and very clean, with a private bathroom for my use. They provided dressing gowns and extra blankets, and the window blinds kept the room nice and dark for sleeping. There’s a living room with a terrace and a fully equipped kitchen, plus soda water, tea, coffee, and basic kitchen supplies like salt and sugar. There’s also a wine fridge with the owners’ selection. The owner was incredibly hospitable, greeted me with a shot of palinka, and made sure I was having a good time. He showed me his own wine cellar and offered a tasting of his wine. A really good experience and very good value.

Just a quick one-night trip for us, and this place suited it perfectly. The cellar row is only a short walk down the street, but the house itself is quiet and restful. Everything was spotless and nicely put together, from the room and bathroom to the rest of the house. Our bedroom had a comfortable bed, fresh clean linen, great pillows, and air conditioning. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed, plus as much tea and coffee as we wanted. The host was lovely and helpful, and their wine is definitely worth trying. It was delicious.

We’ve stayed here several times and plan to come back again. The rooms are clean, the host is exceptionally nice, and the place sits right by the cellar row and the shop.
