Viale Boutique Hotel Villány

We were there for three nights in early February, during the week. Villány was quieter then, but the 40-room hotel still gave us an outstanding stay. Honestly, it struck me as better than some five-star hotels. 🙃 The cleanliness was spotless, and later we learned the hotel had been built around May 2025. The interior is stylish, welcoming, and high quality. The beds were great, there were fresh flowers, and the local wine selection was excellent, all at very reasonable prices. I loved the breakfast: fresh eggs, sourdough, seasonal vegetables, a nice range of cheese, and excellent cold cuts, including different hams and pâtés, as well as seed oils and more. 👌👌👌 The selection isn’t enormous, but the taste and quality of the local products more than make up for that. I’m Hungarian, and really good homemade cured meats are hard to find in Budapest. We found them here. 😀🥳 We explored nearby wine cellars, took long walks in the hills, and unwound in the spa at the top of the hotel. The reception staff deserve a mention too. They have old-fashioned good manners and modern professionalism at the same time. Thanks to everyone who looked after us so well! 🧖‍♀️🧖‍♂️ We’ll be back with friends next time.
