Nice, spacious rooms, a pool, good food, and kind staff. The hotel and its location are both great. Highly recommended!

The rooms were nice, the service friendly, and the food and drinks excellent.

The fifth star comes down to small details that could be improved with care and attention. It doesn’t take a particularly sharp eye to notice maintenance gaps, things done with unsuitable tools, and other deficiencies. That’s also on the owner and operator. Even so, I recommend the place. The building has excellent facilities and was beautifully renovated in 2016. The young, diligent, kind team tries to meet requests right away. It’s a quiet, secluded spot, far from central Villány, which can be an advantage or a drawback. When it isn’t full, it’s ideal for relaxing. The pool helps with the summer heat, and both the building and rooms have air conditioning. Breakfast is a generous buffet, though not very varied, and there are always fresh pastries. If you arrive in an electric car with a green license plate, there’s a Type2 charger on site. It could be five stars!

The breakfast was especially poor for the price. The walls are paper thin, so it feels like your neighbor is right there, and at 8 AM the cleaning staff were already shouting about the previous day’s events. If you’re hoping to relax, look elsewhere. The room we were given after it had just been taken over was dirty. The bathroom badly needs renovation, to put it mildly, and had a razor covered in disgusting hairs, presumably left by the previous guest. Don’t use the sink either: after brushing your teeth, the bath floods because the plumbing is so poorly maintained. Thanks, but never again!
