We had lunch on the covered terrace in a quiet village setting, well away from busy roads, and parking was easy. The service was pleasant, professional, and attentive, and German was understood and spoken readily. Our two meat mains were decent, with good-sized portions, and arrived promptly enough. With three 330cl non-alcoholic beers, the bill was HF5170 (£14.76), and cards were accepted. My partner was disappointed that her vegetables were frozen rather than fresh.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was attentive. Those personal touches are extras that large, fun accommodations like hotels and resorts will never be able to provide.

A really nice family-run guesthouse, with a restaurant, pool, bar, and parking.

Everything was close by, so we hardly needed the car. The food was delicious, and breakfast had plenty of variety and was generous. You could also eat and have a drink by the pool. We stayed with my partner and can only say good things: it was clean and comfortable, with a friendly, family-like atmosphere. It was well worth it. Thank you, Janika Panzió.

We had a great stay with our dog, who was treated very kindly, even after once running into the kitchen. They welcomed him on the terrace at breakfast and around the pool too. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the air conditioning, TV, and refrigerator all worked perfectly. Breakfast was included. The selection wasn't huge, but they kept everything stocked and refilled what ran out. Parking inside the pension was always fine, and Lake Balaton is very close. The pool was nice, though by day three it was quite dirty. I don't know how often they clean it or filter the water. The price was very good for what we got, and everything met our expectations for a three-star hotel.
