The kitchen is open for guests to use, which was a lifesaver for me. I stayed for a week, and the guest house was spotless the whole time. It’s woman-owned, close to the lake, and has a quiet, friendly feel. Everyone respects your space. It’s family-friendly too, and there are a few adorable but discreet kitties! 🐈⬛ I’ll be back. Thank you!

We followed the process and cancelled the few days we had booked well in advance, but we’re still waiting for the deposit refund for our August holiday. We’ve had several emails, calls, promises, and delays, and still no refund. Please sort this out as soon as possible, as we’re planning further action. DO NOT TRUST OR BOOK HERE. If there’s a problem, you’ll never get it resolved. LIARS!!!!

The owner was kind, the rooms were clean, and it was affordable. We felt comfortable there. I also loved the good books on the shelves and the three lovely cats.

The beach was less than a 10-minute walk away, and the guesthouse felt clean and homey. I spent two and a half days in Zamàrdi for the festival and felt so welcome from the moment I arrived. The owners were warm, easy to talk to, and ready to help with anything. I had a great time with such lovely people. If I come to Lake Balaton again, I'd stay with them. 10/10 🤞🥰
