The host was lovely, and the staff were ready to help. I'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The owner was warm and helpful, with good tips on places to see and eat nearby. We had a peaceful, relaxing stay, and there was a parking space for us. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, plus a lovely terrace view over Lake Balaton. There's access to a bay and straight to the lake right outside. We'll definitely come back!

Having the free beach right outside meant we could go for a swim without packing everything up. Our first-floor apartment looked out toward the beach, and morning coffee with Lake Balaton in view was wonderful. Every room also has a large terrace.

The occasional noise from other rooms can carry through and get a little annoying, though with such friendly guests it rarely becomes an issue. This is a real insider tip in Zamárdi. The apartment is right by the lake, great for anglers, families, and anyone with a SUP or boat. People come from Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, and Austria, and sometimes you end up making lovely new friends. The lower apartment's facilities are FAR above average for Lake Balaton. There's a huge TV, a big side-by-side fridge, a spacious kitchen, two bathrooms, and a washing machine. Everything is new or practically new.
