Breakfast was solid, and the location was excellent, with a free beach, little shop and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff spoke English fluently and were helpful. The room was decent, with AC, a bathroom and a fridge with a mini freezer.

6/10
The location works well, just a few metres from the train station and a shop, and around 100 metres from the beach. Breakfast was okay, too. The owner and staff were super kind and helpful, but the room itself wasn’t really big and had quite a few flaws for a non-hotel stay. The bathroom in room 101 also stank.

The staff are generally nice, and the room was reasonably clean, though I hope that wasn’t only because it had been renovated. The rest of the place was full of dead bugs and spiders. There’s one fan to help with the heat, no TV, and the free WiFi is too weak for much online browsing, so bring your own mobile data. The rooms are just fine, so don’t expect too much. If you just need somewhere to sleep in Balaton Zamárdi, it’ll do.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the room was okay. We had a good stay.

It’s close to Balaton, but the place could use an update for the 21st century.
