We visited the rice fields with a group on an excursion from our resort and wished we'd had longer there. It's beautiful, a photographer's dream, and less crowded than the "famous" rice fields. They also have the famous Bali "red-dress swing-thing". My wife tried it, and they let her stay on as long as she wanted. They take great photos and videos too.

The waterfall was a short walk away, and jumping in was a refreshing way to cool down. We also tried the local miniature cucumbers, which were bursting with flavor. Our guide, wayan, shared lots of insight into village culture and daily life. The rice terraces and waterfalls had breathtaking views, and we saw the Luck Duck 🦆.

It's lovely and green here, with a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to get away from the busy tourist areas. Maha Gangga Valley has gorgeous natural views, and it's a nice place to relax, enjoy the scenery, or take photos. Definitely a lovely hidden gem.

The garden is really pretty, though the 75k per person entry fee seemed quite expensive to me at first. Along the route there are local guides who are friendly and full of information. They even offered us coffee and cassava they'd been cooking over an open fire by the river. We didn't hire a private guide, which costs 150k per person. The people we met along the way were more than enough for us. We asked them questions, and they were happy to answer.

We stayed one night in a bungalow, and it was an amazing experience, like getting to sleep in a rice terrace. I think we were the only guests that day, so we had all the many photo spots to ourselves, along with both waterfalls. The staff were so kind and helpful.
