Nauna Villa Bali

The rice terrace views and scenery are beautiful, and the resort has a rustic, peaceful feel. Our room was clean, breakfast was good, and the service was wonderful. The friendly owner and staff made our stay really pleasant. We had a lovely time and would recommend it to friends.

We loved the tasty food and the refreshing pool, and the staff were lovely and so helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Nauna Villa is right beside rice fields in a very quiet setting. One of our best stays in Indonesia, highly recommended!

We were welcomed so warmly by the staff and owners, whose hospitality made a real difference throughout our stay. The garden was beautifully kept, and the whole place felt peaceful, a welcome break from crowded tourist areas. The hotel sits among rice fields, and the owners treated us to traditional Indonesian food and delicious fruit, which gave our stay a lovely local touch. It’s a charming place for a quiet retreat, with good food and a relaxing atmosphere. We’d be happy to come back anytime.

A few things to know: the wooden houses carry sound, so with neighbours you can hear every word. We stayed in a house with two rooms, and having a separate villa could avoid that issue. Frogs and insects from the rice fields are also loud at night, and take some getting used to. The water heater holds enough for one person, so a second person needs to be careful with water use during a shower, no lingering. Even with those quirks, it’s a lovely place for a calm holiday, with a good location, tasty breakfast, and a nice grounds. The host is kind and always ready to help. There are lots of plants around the villa, a pleasant pool with a sunset view, and a great outlook over the rice fields.
