The location was the highlight of our stay at Ari Putri Hotel in Sanur. The beach is a short walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and spas nearby. For the price, it was decent value, with a traditional Balinese feel, leafy gardens, and a calm atmosphere. The pool was usually pleasant and not too busy, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms feel dated, with old furniture, dim lighting, and a shower with weak water pressure. Breakfast was fine but had limited variety. A few reception interactions felt indifferent, too. The pool needs attention: some tiles were broken and sharp, and one of our children cut their foot on them. That’s a safety issue the hotel should address. If you’re after an affordable stay with a convenient location and traditional atmosphere, it may suit you. The dated rooms and other issues could disappoint if you expect modern facilities or a more polished experience.

We left early because there was no hot water at all. They kindly refunded us for one night. The room was very dark, the walls were thin enough that we could hear the neighbors talking, and it smelled of bleach, mold, or both. Breakfast was okay, and the beach is a convenient 10-minute walk away. Just a heads-up for younger travelers, 35 and under: the hotel seems to attract a lot of older guests.

We only came here for dinner, not to stay. The food was tasty, filling, and good value, and the location is great. Service was the letdown: we waited a long time twice, first to order our main course and later to order dessert. We could hear the waitstaff gossiping behind the partition, and they rarely came out to check whether anyone needed anything.

I’ve stayed here several times over the past 10 years. The rooms are good for the price, and the staff are always smiling. I’d recommend it to a person or couple looking to explore the Sanur area.

The staff were lovely, breakfast had a good selection, and there was plenty of food nearby. Getting there was easy, and everything was clean. Had a great stay and would come back :)
