My boyfriend and I have been returning to the Grand Whiz hotel for nine years, and we're always met with friendly smiles. We've got to know the staff, who are all lovely and helpful. On arrival, they carry our bags to the room and ask if we need anything else. They're quick to answer questions and book taxis for us, which has been really useful. That's why we keep coming back. The food and service are amazing, and the beach is no more than a four-minute walk away. We've also stayed in a premier room, which I'd recommend. It's reasonably priced and opens straight onto the swimming pool.

The pool was a favorite, and I liked that they provide swimming towels and rent bicycles. Breakfast was just so-so, but I enjoyed the Indomie stall and JAMU. Standard amenities are available. It's affordable for the Nusa Dua area and close to a Trans Metro Dewata stop, where bus 6 can take you to the airport for IDR 4400 per person, per ticket. I stayed at Grand Whiz Nusa Dua for 4D3N because it was within walking distance of BICC, where SEAMO X 2026 was held. If I have business in Nusa Dua on another Bali visit, I'd consider staying here again.

Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the service was a 10 out of 10. From check-in to check-out everything went smoothly, and staff were quick to respond. We had a minor sink problem, but they came and fixed it right away. They also helped us with our luggage as soon as we arrived. We spent 3 days and 2 nights at Grand Whiz Nusa Dua and had a really pleasant stay. It's peaceful, great for an introvert like me, and conveniently close to the ITDC entrance. We checked in late, but it was easy to find. Highly recommend it if you're staying in Nusa Dua.

The room was clean, the location was lovely, and the staff were very friendly. Bar food was nice, especially the chicken wrap, though the breakfast wasn't to my taste. We often went to the 108 sports bar in the city instead, where the food was good for the price. The hotel's food was nice otherwise. Drink choices were limited. The menu had Bintang, vodka, whiskey and gin, but no alcopops. Smirnoff Ice is well known in Bali, yet the hotel didn't serve it. I still had a really nice stay overall and think we may visit the Grand Whizz hotel again.

The stay was okay overall. Rooms and facilities feel a bit old, and despite the fogging there were still mosquitoes and other insects in the room. The staff, though, were very friendly and helpful.
