Right on the beach, with plenty of room to lounge around the pool, and the food was tasty throughout our stay. Staff were keen to help, and the rooms were spacious and nicely fitted out. Our bed was too hard, though, and there's hardly any drawer space if you want to unpack. The coffee was rubbish. My son also cut his feet twice on hotel equipment, and all they offered as compensation was free ice cream. Still, it was comfortable and pleasant.

The beach and main pool were being renovated at the Nusa Dua property, which might bother some guests, but the staff's fabulous service made it a non-issue for us. Hera from the Kids Club, Yunita and Sinta from F&B, Wirya and Wira at the Pool Bar, Marian at reception, and Ferdi, the master photographer, all helped make our stay comfortable and memorable. The team customized breakfast and helped arrange activities through reception and the concierge. Ferdi's lovely beach photos and Wirya patiently coaching a wannabe bartender were two moments that really stood out.

The pools are roomy and varied, with areas where children can swim safely, and the kids' club has activities including a children's cinema. I also noticed staff sanitizing the facilities before dawn while others looked after the pools, a remarkable level of care for guests' comfort and safety. Our room was spacious and spotless, and housekeeping came promptly whenever we pressed the cleaning button. The breakfast buffet was fairly good, though I'd like more variety and better quality. Food by the beach and through room service was wonderful. The chef was especially good with fried dishes like fish & chips, calamari and popcorn shrimp, plus Margherita pizza and non-alcoholic drinks. We arrived late at night, but check-in was smooth and the reception team welcoming. We were given complimentary welcome drink vouchers and a free photo session voucher, which we could schedule by contacting the team. We stayed about a week. Easy poolside days with the kids were exactly what I was after, and that's what we got. I chose this resort for its location, kids club, children's pool and price. The club was great, though it would have worked even better if my youngest were 4, so I could leave them there briefly. The little pool was perfect, and the slide kept them busy for hours. It was shallow enough that they didn't need floaties. The main pool has lots of small islands where kids learning to swim can rest. Food and drinks can be ordered by the pool. The beach is right there, but the water looked pretty gross, so we didn't swim in the ocean. Our standard king room with a rollaway bed had plenty of space for the kids to share. There was a tiny fridge, tea and coffee facilities, and a safe. The breakfast buffet suited everyone, with tea, coffee and eggs cooked to order. There's a small convenience store outside, and a shuttle to Bali Collection, a local shopping mall I found overrated. I also tried Tea Tree Spa on site and highly recommend the "Me time" treatment for mothers. The TV was rubbish. Even after a staff member tried tuning it, we only got the hotel service channel and one cartoon channel. The settings disappeared when it was turned off, the remote didn't respond, and we gave up. Maybe that wasn't such a bad thing, or maybe Nusa Dua just has poor reception. Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and good with kids. Lots of families were staying there, which made traveling with kids easier. I'd stay again and recommend it to other families.
