Located in Ubud, the art centre of Bali, this club resort is a 45-minute drive from Denpasar and about 50 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Consisting of 10 comfortable rooms with beautiful Balinese designs, the spa complex offers guests a lobby, restaurant, spa, library, shuttle service in the Ubud area and room and laundry services. Some services require an additional fee. Each room is equipped with an en suite bathroom with large bathtub and a shower with hot and cold water, as well as a minibar, international direct dial telephone, safe, cable TV and sofa. Other standard room features include a double or king-size bed, a private balcony or terrace, a hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and individually regulated air conditioning. The property offers a spa with sauna and spa and massage treatments (fees apply to all spa services). The restaurant serves a Continental breakfast each morning and à la carte options are available for lunch and dinner.

I only spent one night here, but it was a really enjoyable stay. The welcome was lovely, the hotel was peaceful, and waking up to the rice terrace view felt magical. Their shuttle to and from Ubud was handy, too. The hotel recommended a taxi driver who took me around the area for the whole day. He was kind and attentive, and adapted easily whenever I changed my plans. He made a great guide, and I’d highly recommend arranging the driver through the hotel.

Junjungan is a lovely village, with the river, places to eat, shopping, and Tecak performances all within walking distance. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff were so nice and accommodating. The free daily shuttle was a huge plus. I highly recommend staying here in Ubud.

We were there for 3 nights and had a very large, clean room with a lovely view of the rice terraces. The hotel is quite a distance from the city center, though it provides transport there and back once a day. During our stay, the technical team had to repair something on the roof. They accessed it through our bathroom. Once they’d left, I noticed the toilet seat lid was up, which made me think someone from the crew had used the toilet. I don’t think that’s okay. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

The spa felt authentic and was good value, and they even had a PlayStation console and Movie DVDs for watching something. The staff were very helpful and looked after all our needs. They also arranged a scooter rental that made getting around much easier. Junjungan Ubud Hotel & Spa was the best stay of our whole Bali trip. The hotel is beautiful, with paddy field views right from the balcony. Rooms are massive, beds could easily fit 3 people, and the bathroom’s huge bathtub is made of granite or another non-ceramic material. We’ll definitely come back to Bali and stay here again. We miss it so much.

It was my first time staying in Ubud, and they made it memorable. Everything was top notch from beginning to end. I’ll always cherish my time in Junjungan. 1000% recommend.
