Mercure Bali Nusa Dua

The location was very good, and they run a free shuttle to the beach every day. The staff were so helpful and nice, always greeting us and opening the doors when we got taxis. We were treated like royalty. The food was amazing, and my room was cleaned every day with the water replaced. I also had the best massage I’ve ever had at the spa. I’d come back here.

The hotel is badly run down and needs a lot of work. Our bedroom door lock jammed twice, so we couldn’t shut the door. We were worried about security and about being trapped if it jammed in an emergency. Other people in our group, on another floor, said they had the same problem with dodgy locks. The curtains wouldn’t close fully, and the closed balcony door had a half-inch gap at the top that let mosquitoes in. The toilet flush was broken and jammed after flushing, so we had to take off the cistern lid to fix it. The sink was badly blocked and drained slowly. At least the air conditioning worked. Calling this a 4-Star Hotel is a complete insult to better places. We’ve stayed in better 3-Star hotels and hostels. We chose it for the location, but in hindsight we should’ve picked a competitor and paid a little more for much better accommodation. Luckily, we were only there briefly before moving on.

Celebrating our wedding anniversary with family at Mercure Bali Nusa Dua made for a wonderful stay, and we loved every moment. We came back each day to a perfectly clean room, which felt so comforting. The food was outstanding and delicious, and check-in and checkout were smooth and effortless. The staff were exceptional, always smiling, warm, and genuinely caring. Thank you for making our anniversary so special and memorable.

A big convenience was the hotel’s tie-up with Grab. We got special discounts on rides, which made getting around extremely easy and added good value to our trip. The location was excellent for exploring nearby areas, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and cooperative. Mercure Bali Nusa Dua was well maintained, and our stay during the Bali trip was comfortable and enjoyable. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Bali. Great budget hotel.
