Mimpi Resort Menjangan

We went snorkeling at Menjangan Island, and the trip was organized smoothly. Back at Mimpi Resort Menjangan, the thermal pools were a dream, and the team's careful attention to detail stood out. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It’s a peaceful place for a relaxing getaway in West Bali, with top tier service.

The natural hot springs at Mimpi Resort Menjangan were the highlight for us. Soaking in the warm, mineral rich water with a lagoon view felt like a special treat. The pool area and gardens also added to the peaceful atmosphere. The resort sits by the water, surrounded by nature, and made a restful place to return to after exploring Menjangan. Our room was comfortable and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly. It works well as a base for snorkeling or diving, but it’s also a nice place to spend time just relaxing.

The private hot spring was fantastic, and we used it at least five times. The room was spacious, clean, and had a very nice bathroom. Just be aware that the water is very hot, over 40 degrees. We also had a great massage at the spa. The restaurant’s food was average to good, and its location is great. The menu may feel limited on a longer stay, as others have mentioned, but it was fine for our short break. We chose the resort for its location and its reputation as a quiet place, but our room was right beside the Yoga area during an event. Loudspeaker announcements and stretches of talking woke us one morning, and there were sessions with loud shouting and laughing. That meant time in the private courtyard wasn’t always peaceful. The hot spring was for our room only, but people walking on the path could see into the courtyard over a wall just a little over a metre high. It was close to a five star stay, though not quite there. We stayed a couple of nights for snorkeling at Menjangan Island and some rest. I’d recommend the resort and especially the private hot spring, and we’d stay again when we’re in the area.

The restaurant food was really good, and the tiramisu was the best. We also had a great stay and spa experience. Menjangan feels like a hidden gem, with a lovely ambiance and a great staff. We’ll definitely be back. One small suggestion: it’d be nice to have a smart TV.
