Villa Santai was my first stop for three nights as I began a month of getting to know Bali. It turned out to be a peaceful, clean place, with a lovely garden and a nice breakfast, and it exceeded what I expected. I was fortunate to meet the host family. They made me feel at home and shared lots of suggestions for things to see around the island. They speak Indonesian fluently and show real awareness of local culture and religion, reflected in the statues and offerings around the property. I'd recommend staying here to settle in and take in the island's beauty and mysteries. 🙏

Erica and Arnaud were incredibly kind and welcoming, and helped us with anything we needed, including ideas for our trip. The villa is peaceful and has a pool. We also had a lovely floating breakfast there. Ask Erica about arranging one, she was happy to do it. The location is convenient for getting to different parts of the south.

We loved staying here for two weeks. The villa was lovely, with a really big garden, nice bedrooms, and wonderful breakfasts every day. Thanks again to the host for making us feel at home. Can't wait to see you again. Highly recommended.

I like dogs, but this was the most irritating one I've come across. It wouldn't stop barking unless we went into our room. My friend and I couldn't use the pool because the dog kept barking at them.

This is my favorite place to stay in Bali. It's right among the local community and close to lots of beaches. I really recommend it!
