Novotel Bali Nusa Dua - Hotel & Residences

Our son’s birthday became a really special family memory, thanks to how thoughtfully it was arranged. Juan from Novotel and Hadi from AVC were especially kind and helpful with the details. We were there from 15-23 January with our two kids. The pool and beach club were both great for families, and the welcome and service from the staff made us comfortable from the start. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend Novotel for a relaxing family holiday.

The people here are the real highlight. Sukarini, Purna, Sunarmi, and Yoga all went out of their way for my family, and Gede kept the pool activities fun with aqua fit, volleyball, and bingo. The InBalance spa was relaxing, high quality, and good value. I had three lovely treatments with Gusti, Sri, and Happy. The large pool feels almost private even when other guests are using it. We also enjoyed the Square Restaurant and Gourmet Bar, with tasty food and drinks at reasonable prices. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the coffee machine staff were very talented. Our family loves Novotel Nusa Dua for its service and rooms that work well for different ages. The suites are especially spacious and comfortable. Having a kitchenette and refrigerator meant I could cook or make coffee in the room. Housekeeping comes daily, provides fresh linens if requested, and pays close attention to detail. It may cost more than some other Bali stays, but I feel you get what you pay for, and it’s worth it.

We spent a lovely week here, and the kids club was a particular favorite. Ulan and Evi were an absolute delight, and the activities kept my three-year-old engaged. We also hired Nonique as a nanny, and she spent time with my daughter while we went to the Novotel spa. I’d especially recommend the hotel for its kids club.

I’d like to raise a concern about breakfast at Novotel Nusa Dua on February 14, 2026. During my family’s 11 days in Bali this February, we visited Legian, Ubud, Sanur, and Nusa Dua, and the hotels we stayed in were consistently warm and welcoming. Bali is beautiful, and we’d gladly return and recommend it. This incident, however, left me uncomfortable and disappointed. At the egg station I asked for fried eggs over easy. Soon after, an Australian guest ordered sunny-side-up eggs. Two staff members were there. One had prepared my eggs and was about to give them to me when a second staff member, who seemed more senior, told him to serve the other guest first. My eggs went to that guest, so I had to wait for another portion. I understand that breakfast can be busy and mistakes happen, but this seemed deliberate rather than a simple oversight. I felt unfairly treated. I didn’t raise it publicly because I wanted to avoid embarrassing anyone, and later my wife told me she’d had a similar experience when ordering eggs. Across our three breakfasts, this was the only staff member whose conduct concerned me. Still, guests should be treated equally, and no one should be prioritized without a clear, fair reason. I respectfully ask management to review what happened and reinforce staff training around fairness, professionalism, and consistency. I hope this helps improve service for future guests.
