Omatha Village is tucked into the middle of Denpasar city, so the location is pretty strategic. It’s a good option if you want somewhere quiet and spacious. I checked in around 11.30pm and the staff welcomed me warmly. There’s no elevator, but security kindly carried my suitcase up to the 3rd floor. My room had plenty of space, a balcony, a TV, and lots of amenities. The sheets and towels were clean, and the fridge was spacious. The problems were the many ants in both the room and bathroom, plus a bad smell from the toilet that made the bathroom stink too. I enjoyed my time at Omatha Vilage and would recommend it if you’re after an affordable, quiet place to stay.

I stayed for 3 nights and had quiet, peaceful evenings. The staff were attentive and accommodating, and I was offered a complimentary buffet-style breakfast. You can also have food brought to your room, and there’s a dinner menu. My room was decent, with AC, a TV that had no signal, a balcony, a kitchen, and refreshments in the fridge. The location felt more local, and it’s roughly 40 minutes from Densapar Airport. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews, but they don’t really match my experience. I’d recommend this place if you want peace and fewer tourists. If I had to nitpick, the sheets were washed but still had a few minor stains. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

They did a great job with the laundry, and you can pay 5k more per kilo to have it expedited. The staff were very kind and let us use their mosquito spray in our rooms whenever we needed it.

Hospitality was excellent! Hanna Fernandez and everyone else at reception were especially kind. They were accommodating and helpful in every way. My wife and I are happy we met the people there, and I hope we’ll be back again very soon! ❤️❤️❤️

The location was good and the rooms were okay, except for black mould on the curtains. But the noise is why I’m giving this one star. A woman left her children unattended, and they kept us awake until 11:30pm. My partner went over to ask them to stop shouting and playing music, and realized they were young kids on their own. Their mother came back shortly after midnight and made even more noise. I banged on our adjoining door and things quieted down for a while, then the children started banging on our door. When I spoke to her again, she was smoking while they ran around shouting. I complained to reception and was told this happens regularly. It’s not appropriate to put guests in a room when you know this is a recurring problem. The receptionist wasn’t apologetic and smirked throughout. Our breakfast was also late. We’d arranged to have it delivered to the room, but had to go to reception and ask for it. At checkout, they made us wait while they inspected the room and wanted to charge us 150k/€9 for a small stain on the sheet. Surely washing the sheets after each guest is part of their job, rather than something to charge extra for? Rude staff and management. We won’t be back. Avoid this place at all costs!
