Palm Garden Hotel

When I checked out today, I left my wallet in a drawer. I came back later, and the reception staff immediately handed it over. They'd already emailed us about it, though we hadn't checked our email. Safe place, friendly staff, good facilities. Thank you, Palm Garden hotel.

The pool and garden are lovely, and the hotel is well placed, within walking distance of the beach. Breakfast has several choices, though the food is very basic. The rooms are spacious, but the furniture is old and the bathroom needs renovating.

I've stayed here so many times, and it's my home in Bali. The rooms and bathrooms are huge, the pool is fantastic, and the location is priceless. The staff are amazing. Sure, it's an older, traditional resort and there are always things that could be improved, but I've never had a bad experience and can't fault it. Thank you, Terima Kasih xoxo

We came as a family with a toddler and found the place quiet, with beautiful gardens and close to the beach and other facilities. There's no restaurant or bar on site, but there are bars nearby. The pool was lovely and towels were provided. The hotel has an old-fashioned feel that I liked, and the rooms were huge and clean, with comfortable beds, though the furniture looked very old. They were painting the building and changing furniture in one room, so I think they may be starting to refurbish it. We had a terrible first night because of plumbing problems. The shower wouldn't drain, and water ran into the fully tiled bedroom, which was especially hazardous for me because I'm unsteady on my feet. The sink plug got stuck too, as its lever was missing. We reported everything at reception, and staff came to deal with it while we went out for food. That evening, my partner flushed the toilet and it flooded both the bathroom and bedroom. At first they said they'd fix it in the morning, but after we raised our voices, they moved us to another room. Don't let our plumbing trouble put you off, though. I really liked the property.
