I spent about three weeks here, and it was peaceful and gorgeous, tucked among mountain rice fields. The staff are well trained, and I tried their restaurant for all three meals each day. The food stayed consistently good and worked for a range of dietary needs. I had a kitchen in my room, but liked their cooking enough that I ate there instead. There are hiking trails and a natural pool, and I also made use of services like laundry and massage. For the price and convenience, the whole place has a really calming feel. It works well for a single night or a longer stay.

It felt like staying in pure, untouched nature. Each bungalow has a design story tied to traditional culture, and you really feel part of the surroundings. The nature was loud, in the best way, with frogs and cicadas everywhere. So beautiful. Loved it.

We left disappointed. The restaurant food wasn't anything special, and family restaurants nearby served tastier meals. Our room was a special house with a forest view, but we asked to move closer to reception. The receptionist said all rooms would be full the next day without checking, even though some rooms we passed stayed empty during our visit. The resort also seemed to need some care. The water channels through the rice fields weren't flowing when we arrived, and the pool looked as if it hadn't been maintained for a while. When we asked about it, the receptionist said it was always like that. The next day, a yoga group arrived, and then the pool was cleaned and the water started flowing.

A lovely setting, tasty food, and a really refreshing nature pool. They also offer some beautiful Bali tours through the rice fields and jungle.

We loved staying in the bungalows surrounded by nature. It's peaceful and feels authentic, with an unusual concert of insects, birds, and lizards. PS: I'd seen other reviews mentioning bed bugs, but we didn't have that issue in our bungalow.
