Risata Bali Resort and Spa

The rooms were clean and comfortable, if a little dated, and the garden setting and pool area were relaxing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Risata Bali Resort & Spa is close to the airport and an easy walk from the beach. Great value for money, and I’d stay again.

There are marts, warungs, and other places to eat around the resort, and Kuta Beach is very close. The property is huge and surrounded by greenery, which makes it calm and serene. It has a swimming pool and a variety of rooms to choose from. Our stay was very pleasant, the service was great, and breakfast buffet was really good.

Rooms have the basics but aren’t luxurious, and the bathrooms are quite small. The greenery around the resort is relaxing, though the room views aren’t very appealing. The property itself is spacious, with landscaped areas, ponds where you can feed the fish, and a poolside restaurant where breakfast is served. It also has a gym and spa. Staff service is generally good, though room service is slow. The biggest plus is the location: Risata Bali Resort is a five-minute walk from Kuta Beach, on a lively market road with Indian restaurants, cafés, shops, and tourist spots. Lippo Mall, Ganesha Restaurant, and Chaska are nearby and are excellent options for Indian travellers. The resort’s own Indian restaurant, Annapurna, serves good Indian food for dine-in and room service. It’s also only 5-10 minutes from the airport, which is very convenient. Breakfast needs work. More variety across the buffet, and an Indian chef or more Indian breakfast options, would add value. They provide a breakfast box for early departures, but the food quality could be better. Pool hours, 8 AM to 9 PM, feel restrictive in Bali, and opening earlier and closing later would be more convenient. There’s live singing on Tuesdays, but entertainment every other day would suit a tourist-friendly destination like Bali better. They’re unusually strict about towels and amenities. If you ask for an extra towel one day, they won’t give you one the next day, which feels unnecessarily cheap for a 4-star hotel. In one of our rooms they also reused cups from the other room instead of giving us fresh ones. That needs improving. The location is excellent and the stay was comfortable, but better breakfast, amenities handling, and room quality would make the experience significantly better.

We really enjoyed staying at Risata Bali Resort & Spa and would highly recommend it for a comfortable, pleasant trip in Bali. The resort felt peaceful and relaxing, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. From start to finish, the hospitality and service were exceptional.
