Segara Village Hotel

I loved sitting on my balcony, and mostly spent my time around the three pools. Before breakfast, I sat by the beach to watch the sunrise. The location is great, right on the beach and about a seven-minute walk down to Icon. I also had a massage and scrub, which was a good experience. There was a wonderful breakfast at the restaurant, lovely juices and mocktails, and the mango dessert I ordered through room service was divine. Prices seemed good for a resort. The only thing that bothered me was the bass coming from the restaurant. My room was nice, although the A/C didn’t work well and I never had hot water. I told the front desk, and they were very kind. I think their attempt to fix it made things worse, but I couldn’t be bothered moving rooms, so that was on me. Would recommend!

We loved this hotel and would return to Sanur without hesitation. It has lovely big gardens, nice pools, and a beautiful, large deluxe garden view room. The service was excellent, and the beachfront setting was great. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and was very good for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was pretty rich for Asian tastes, but as a European I’d suggest improving the quality of the cheese and cold cuts like salami. Their flavour and appearance were both poor. The bread and bakery products, on the other hand, were very good, and they have their own bakery. Very clean and lovely overall, it’s the best hotel at Sanur for us.

The oceanfront promenade is lovely for a walk, jog, or bike ride, and the hotel's gardens are a pleasure to wander through. The grounds feel large enough for long walks, with tropical greenery and nature that still felt exotic and new to me, while the place itself stays peaceful and not too crowded. The Balinese atmosphere is beautiful, cozy, and full of charm. Everyone was welcoming, smiling, and ready to help, which made the stay feel relaxing. We enjoyed the food at Byrd House, the breakfasts had good variety, and the café croissants were incredible. My only downside was the ocean at this part of Sanur. The water stays quite shallow even at high tide, so water shoes are a good idea.

We spent two weeks here for our honeymoon, and the bungalow was spacious and super clean. There were no bugs in the room, despite all the lush nature outside. The grounds felt like a beautiful oasis, with three pools and loads of trees, plants, flowers, and birds. Everything was organized neatly and professionally, and all the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to look after our needs. Breakfast and the restaurant food were super yummy. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We absolutely loved it and will miss the place. 100% recommend it to Bali travellers!
