Freddies Resort & Villas Ubud

Komang Ceat and his team made our three nights at Freddies so good. Everyone working there was incredibly helpful, and there are activities nearby. The food and drinks were spot on. I absolutely loved staying here!

The construction didn’t get in the way of a five-star stay. The villas were amazing, and the rooms and service were excellent. Nano and Ariana were incredible and went out of their way to make our holiday memorable. I also remember a young woman serving breakfast who was always cheerful and friendly. My wife and I will definitely be back. All the wonderful staff made us feel like family, not just guests. Thank you!

Mang Cat drove the shuttle and was happy to arrange trips and excursions wherever we wanted to go. He knows a lot about Ubud’s area and culture, and can also guide you around the temples. He and the rest of the staff really made our trip. Everyone was friendly and nothing felt like too much trouble. The place is beautiful, with Ubud’s hustle and bustle just outside it.

I wanted some quiet and the villa gave me that. The staff were amazing and so friendly, though my welcome felt very rushed. Maybe it was because I arrived late, I’m not sure. I didn’t like the deluxe room. Its window was completely closed off, and I’d expected at least a bathtub with a deluxe room. The shower was worse: it had a curtain, the floor was flat, and water ended up all over the bathroom. Walking around on wet floors wasn’t pleasant. The shower corner also had a thick white layer of dried water and looked very dirty. I didn’t feel comfortable showering there and used my flip-flops. It didn’t seem to have been cleaned. Someone should inspect the room before guests arrive.
