Suris Boutique Hotel

I ended up sleeping fully dressed because the bed was stained. The room was dirty and disgusting, and I wouldn't use that shower even if you offered me a million dollars. I know it's cheap, but cleaning the rooms should still be a must.

The staff service was excellent, and the location is great, close to Kuta beach. We stayed one night. They let us check in early without charging, but late checkout costs IDR 25K per hour. The room was okay, though a little dirty, especially the bed cover and bathtub.

Suris Boutique Hotel left me disappointed. There's no elevator, so hauling luggage up several flights in the heat was an unpleasant start. The room and grounds were poorly kept, with dusty corners, stained walls, litter, and neglected greenery. The rooms also all seemed like copies of one another. Breakfast was the same basic à la carte plate each morning: two slices of bread, butter, a little jam, and orange juice. There were no toiletries like toothpaste, shampoo, or soap. The safe in my room wouldn't lock, and one curtain had a bloodstain. In the bathroom, the drain couldn't keep up with the shower, leaving the floor flooded. The pool was murky, with algae on the sides, so I skipped my usual swim. This fell far short of the Bali stay I wanted. I'd look elsewhere for hospitality and cleanliness.

The bathroom was really nasty and badly outdated. They don't provide face towels, so you have to use a large towel to shower or bathe. The pool is tiny, and roosters cackle early in the morning. It's in a very busy area with no quiet time. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and it should be condemned.
