Taksu Sanur Hotel

The people here made our stay. Every staff member we met was friendly, welcoming, and polite, and that really stood out. The restaurant food was good too, with consistently attentive service. Taksu Sanur is close to the beach and nearby essentials, yet the atmosphere stays calm and relaxed. There’s greenery and plants all around the beautiful grounds, giving the place a tropical feel. We had a great time and would stay again.

Our Taksu Suite was spacious and clean, though it didn’t have a balcony. The pool is big enough to swim laps. The gym is quite small and only lets four people in at a time. It has a treadmill, rowing machine, bench with weights, and an upright machine with various attachments, though we weren’t sure what that last one was called. Breakfast was a very good buffet with plenty of options, and they can provide gluten-free bread if you ask. We also ate dinner at the restaurant. It was pretty good, though the portions were on the small side. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and requests were handled promptly, which was a nice surprise. We had a lovely stay at Taksu, thank you.

The staff were the best part, so friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was wonderful. It’s a great find in Sanur. We had a basic room that was huge and spotless, like the rest of the hotel. The air conditioning was super quiet, and the bathroom was nice with a large shower. There’s parking on site and a decent swimming pool. The beach club is about an 8-10 minute walk away. Highly recommended for the SANUR area.

Spotless, spacious rooms, a huge sparkling clean pool, and lovely staff. This place is what the Holiday inn around the corner should be, and it costs half as much. I got caught by the assumption that an American chain hotel must be clean and nice. I know, I’m an idiot. This place blows it away. Also, don’t miss Hanoi Vietnamese restaurant. It’s a short bike ride or walk away, and the food is to die for.
