The main issue is parking. There's no parking space at the hotel, so your car will be left somewhere else, which could be a problem if you need things from it. Apart from that, we had a nice experience. The staff were very good and friendly, and the hotel is new. The sheets, pillows, and toilets were clean, and the room smelled nice. Amenities were okay, though the facilities are basic, as you'd expect from a low-cost hotel. There are plenty of food and coffee options nearby: a good kebabs restaurant next door, at least three cafes, Indomaret with Point Cafe, Mie Jakarta, and others. You won't go hungry, and could probably have three coffees a day.

Been back many times, the staff are all very friendly and it feels safe. For a cheap backpacking stay, it's okay, with a strategic spot near the uni and plenty of street food. At night it can get a bit noisy with lots of motorbikes on the road.

I just wanted a cheap, adequate room that was easy to get to, and this suited me perfectly. The room is spacious too, a big plus for me. It's not an exclusive kind of place, and it doesn't try to be. For the price, I don't think you'd ask for more.

The room itself was good, but the noise made the stay not that great. We got a deluxe room on the second floor facing dipati ukur street, after first booking a standard room on the first floor without a window, which felt quite stuffy. The deluxe room was larger and had a window, water heater, coffee, refrigerator, cold and hot water, and a better cupboard. The second floor mixes kosan and reddorz rooms, with reddorz at the front and kos2an/flat behind. People going up and down kept passing our room, and the window facing the street let in even more noise. I wouldn't recommend the street-facing window room, the deluxe one.
